The terms that apply when you use the Wealthy Whiz Kids website, curriculum, book series, or facilitator certification program.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Wealthy Whiz Kids website, curriculum, Budget Adventure Series books, and Certified Wealthy Whiz Kids (CWWK) facilitator program (together, the "Services"), offered by Wealthy Whiz Kids, LLC ("WWK," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing our website or enrolling in our Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our Services.
WWK provides self-paced, no-teacher-required financial literacy curriculum for two programs: the Wealthy Whiz Kids curriculum (grades 1 through 5) and the Financial $UCCE$$ Lab (grades 6 through 12), along with the Budget Adventure Series of children's books published under the pen name G.S. Pennington, and the CWWK facilitator certification program for adults who want to deliver our curriculum in their own community, school, or co-op.
Our curriculum is built for young learners, but accounts, purchases, and platform access are intended to be set up and managed by a parent, guardian, teacher, or facilitator on behalf of the child or students in their care. If you are under 18, you should use our Services only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.
Teachers, homeschool co-op leaders, and facilitators enrolling students or program participants are responsible for securing any parental consent or school authorization required before students access our curriculum.
Some Services require an account on our course hosting platform (currently Podia, transitioning to FreshLearn). You agree to provide accurate information when creating an account and to keep your login credentials secure.
Prices for curriculum, books, and certification are listed on our website or course platform at the time of purchase. Payment is processed through our course platform's integrated payment processor. Refund requests are considered on a case by case basis; contact us using the details in Section 14.
All curriculum, guides, workbooks, illustrations, branding, and related materials remain the sole property of Wealthy Whiz Kids, LLC. When you purchase access to our curriculum or materials, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use those materials for your own family, classroom, or program only.
You may not resell, redistribute, publicly post, or share purchased materials outside your own household, classroom, or program without our prior written consent. This license does not transfer any ownership of our intellectual property to you.
Individuals who complete the CWWK facilitator certification receive a limited credential and license to deliver WWK curriculum under our established facilitator guidelines. Facilitator-specific terms, including background check requirements for those working with minors and the scope of what a facilitator may and may not represent to participants, are set out in the separate facilitator agreement provided as part of certification.
Our curriculum, books, and facilitator program are designed for financial education only and do not constitute financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. Neither Wealthy Whiz Kids, LLC nor its certified facilitators act in a financial advisory capacity, and nothing in our materials should be treated as a recommendation to take any specific financial action. Families and program participants should consult a qualified professional for advice specific to their circumstances.
When using our Services, you agree not to:
Violate any applicable law or the rights of others.
Copy, distribute, or publicly share our curriculum or materials outside the scope of your license.
Interfere with the security or normal operation of our website or course platform.
Misrepresent your affiliation with WWK, including misuse of the CWWK credential.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Wealthy Whiz Kids, LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost revenue, or loss of data, arising out of or related to your use of our Services, regardless of the theory of liability (contract, tort, negligence, or otherwise), even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total liability for any claim arising out of or related to these Terms or our Services is limited to the total amount you paid to us for the Services giving rise to the claim.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Wealthy Whiz Kids, LLC, its members, officers, and facilitators from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of: (a) your misuse of our materials, (b) your breach of these Terms, (c) your negligence or willful misconduct, or (d) any third party claim arising from your use or delivery of our program at your site.
We may suspend or terminate your access to our Services if you violate these Terms. You may stop using our Services at any time. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination, including intellectual property, limitation of liability, and indemnification, will continue to apply.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of our Services after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
